The Sales Engineer will manage exist accounts and develop new business. Typical customers include laser manufactures, defense, analytical instrument/medical device, etc. Experience selling precision optical components ideal, but not required if other sales experience is in the optics and photonics industry. Reports directly to the President

  • Managing existing account portfolio
  • Identify and develop new customers and opportunities
  • Periodic activity reports and forecasts for the territory
  • Manage all aspects of customer satisfaction
  • Send quotations and product proposals in a timely fashion
  • Work closely with manufacturing and the management team
  • Experience in optics/photonics sales. Knowledge of precision optical components is ideal
  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • Excellent customer presentation skills required
  • Cold calling
  • Self-starter
