Scientific Sales Engineer

The ideal candidate will have proven experience selling optical systems to the Scientific market, including research labs, government labs, universities, etc.

You will:

  • Follow up on existing leads and cold call to potential scientific customers
  • Perform technical product demonstrations and presentations at customer sites
  • Act as consultant to customers with guidance on proper selection on product for their application
  • Report new applications, trends and research to the internal R&D team for product improvements and upgrades
Qualified candidates will have:
  • Advanced degree in Optics, Physics or related
  • 2+ years experience in selling to the Scientific community
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Experience with imaging, test equipment or lasers very helpful
