Our client is looking for a highly motivated sales engineer to join their team as an Account Manager with the primary mission focused on identifying, developing and driving new business opportunities with new and existing customers for thier precision optical components. This includes contacting current and potential customers to discover opportunities, qualifying incoming leads, providing quotes, and following up.  He/she will work closely with the company's management, operations, engineering and product management to grow the business.  The Account Manager will have ownership of the Annual Sales Plan and meeting the quarterly targets.

Qualifications:
BS Degree or MS Degree in Physics, Optics, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
At least 5 years of sales management experience in the optics industry is required.
Experience in precision optics or related photonics components/instruments
Ability to build strong customer relationships will be crucial.
A demonstrated ability to penetrate large accounts and have a successful track record.
A self-starter who employs the industry’s best practices for selling, negotiating and influencing, such as Strategic Selling.
