Job Description

This person will work independently driving sales in East Coast US for optical products and illumination systems serving the semiconductor, life science, academic, biotechnology, analytical instruments, and material science markets.

• Identify new opportunities within the R&D customer base
• Direct Sales and Manage Distributor network in Europe
• Maintain existing accounts and OEM customers
• Provide technical applications support
• Prepare quotations
• Stay current on company technology and customer applications
• Represent company at trade shows and conferences

Job requirements include:
• 3-7 years experience in sales managing technical products in the optics/photonics industry
• Strong presentation, analytical and customer service skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must
• BS degree in optics, physics, engineering, or other technical degrees considered
• Experience working with OEM accounts
• 40% Travel in territory
